My Process

From inquiry to delivery, let me tell you about my process!

Inquiry & Planning

When you first contact me, let me know what you envision for your session. We will come up with a plan for the best location, time and outfits!

Invoice & Contract

After we chat about what you envision, I will email an invoice & contract. After payment is received and contract is signed, your date is secured!

The Session

I will be in contact with you the days leading up to your session to make sure outfit selection is going well and we are on track for having the best weather for your session! We will also be in contact the day of as well.

Delivery

2-4 weeks after our session you will receive an online gallery to preview all of your edited images from our session. Within the gallery you can visit the Print Store to purchase high resolution digital downloads, prints, and more! Product is a separate purchase from the session fee made only after you view all of your images!

What is included in my session?

The session fee includes the time, talent, experience and training of your photographer. It includes a consultation to plan your wardrobe, portrait session, and an online gallery where you can view and purchase product from through the Print Store.

What is the best time of day to schedule a session?

I prefer to shoot late afternoon during the golden hour just before the sun sets. If there is another time of day that would better suit your needs, please let me know!

What should I wear?

Once you have booked your session we can discuss this in further detail so we ensure you feel comfortable and confident during your session.

Does a print release mean that I own the images?

No, the print release I will provide if you have purchased the digital files allows you to print those images for personal use only. Kayli Maier Photography retains all copyrights to the images. Your release does not include permission to modify, sell or enter the images in any contests without my written consent.

How do I see my images from the session?

Once the images have been fully edited, I will upload them to an online gallery and send you the link by email. From there you can view, download, and purchase additional product through the Print Store.

How many photos will I receive?

It depends on how long the session is and how many family members are included. Typically for a family between 8+ people and 1-1.5 hour long session you will get between 50-75 images.
