THINGS TO CONSIDER BEFORE REACHING OUT

Time moves fast, and before you know it, the little moments become lifelong memories. Family sessions with KMP are designed to capture connection, personality, and the love the makes your family yours. Whether we're chasing golden light in a field or laughing through the chaos of toddlers and teens, the experience is relaxed, fun, and full of real moments.
Before reaching out, here are a few things to consider:
Who will be photographed? Immediate family only or extended family too? What season or time of year feels right for you? Do you have a specific location in mind or do you want help picking one? Preferably I stick to Ritzville and the surrounding areas. Once you're ready, I'll guide you through every step of the way!

LOCATIONS

a special spot
RITZVILLE COW LAKE
my studio
Choosing the location is entirely up to you and what is best for your family. Some things to consider would be family members ability to walk to the location, do we need to be on solid ground not far from the comfort of your home or can we meet at the fairgrounds in Ritzville under the shade of the trees. The time of your shoot will also impact the location. We discuss all over this during our phone consultation.
FAQ
What is the best time of day to schedule a session?
I prefer to shoot late afternoon during the golden hour just before the sun sets. If there is another time of day that would better suit your families needs, please let me know!

How do I see my images from the session?
Give me 2-4 weeks to edit and once that process is complete I will upload them to an online gallery and send you the link by email. From there you can view, and purchase product through the Print Store. A minimum product investment of $240 is required.

What should I wear?

Once you have booked your session we can discuss this in further detail so we ensure you feel comfortable and confident during your session. In short, think coordinate not match, avoid neon colors, and don't forget to include shoes in your outfit planning!

What if the weather is bad on the day of an outdoor shoot?
I watch the weather like a hawk and if it looks like we should move it to a different day, I will communicate that with you. There have been plenty of times when it looks like it will rain and then at the time of shooting, we get a beautiful sunset! Whatever it may be, I will be communicating with you and we will decide what is best.
